Child Education Program and Guides
New parents often wish they had a “handbook” to help them navigate the journey of parenting. In the absence of that owner's guide, the biggest advantage any parent can have is a network of individuals who can empathize and share insights based on their experiences. Our child education program's and guides help to fill this role.
At Genely's Family Child Care, not only do our educators provide a proven child education program, but our parents help each other. Our community fosters a real feeling of security.
As parents, we know that getting a baseline for developmental milestones is helpful. Knowing when your child should be developing different skills helps to ease anxiety and makes it easier to know when or if concerns are developing.
Our child education program helps parents to understand where their children are in the stages of development for both motor and cognitive milestones.
One to Three Months
Muscle strength and control improve as your child becomes even more animated. With eye development progressing they will begin to fixate on objects and even look from one object to another.
Four to Six Months
At this stage your child will purposefully reach for objects and successfully hold them. He or she will also recognize familiar voices and communicate with a unique gesture or a specific cry
Seven to Twelve Months
During this developmental milestone, your child gains dexterity. They will begin imitating actions like waving bye-bye while exploring objects around them with a renewed sense of curiosity.
